A half-acre barn conversion garden in West Sussex, planned from the ground up across three areas: the entrance, the courtyard and the main garden.

The garden

The owners of this large barn conversion in West Sussex approached Naomi while the property was still in planning. Naomi started by planning the half-acre site, then worked on the planting detail of each area over an extended period.

The site falls into three main areas: the entrance, the courtyard and the main garden. Each has its own design, with continuity running through all three. Naomi designed and planned the planting for each area, and early photos already show it thriving in its first season.

Not only is Naomi super talented but she brings such zen to my world 🧘‍♀️🌺. She's designed our dream garden but completely understands that we can't implement it all at once. We debated doing it in stages and leaving parts totally unfinished but have come to the conclusion that a more basic whole garden is more useful to us.
