Naomi Ferrett-Cohen is a sole trader, trading as Naomi Ferrett-Cohen Garden Design. She is the data controller, which means she decides how your information is used. In this policy, “Naomi” means her.

What information Naomi collects

If you send an enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, phone number and a message. If you phone or email instead, Naomi has your contact details and what you tell her. She uses this to reply to you and to talk about your garden. She does not use it for anything else, and she does not sell it.

If you agree to cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used: the pages you visit, how you found the site, your device and browser, and your approximate location. Naomi uses this to see which pages help people and to improve the site. Google may also measure whether a visit that started from one of Naomi’s adverts led to an enquiry.

Cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you agree. A banner asks you when you first visit. If you decline, those cookies are not set. The site remembers your choice in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Who sees your information

Netlify hosts this website and receives the enquiry form, which is then sent to Naomi by email. Google provides the analytics, only if you agree to cookies. Both are based in the United States, so your information may be handled outside the UK, under the safeguards these providers use. Naomi may also share information where the law requires it.

Some pages show Naomi’s films from YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode. Links to other sites, such as Instagram or press articles, take you away from this site, and those sites have their own privacy policies.

How long Naomi keeps it

Naomi keeps your enquiry for as long as she needs it to deal with it and any project that follows. She does not keep it for longer than she needs to.

Your rights

You can ask Naomi what information she holds about you, ask her to correct or delete it, ask her to limit or stop using it, ask for a copy you can pass on, and withdraw your consent to cookies at any time. To do any of these, contact Naomi using the details above. She will reply within one month.
